IDB confirms commitment to achieve human development in member countries

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has confirmed its commitment to continue supporting the efforts to achieve comprehensive human development in its member countries including the ability to cope with earthquakes and reduce their destructive effects on the infrastructure in line with the Bank's objectives and developmental priorities.
This came in a statement by IDB President Dr. Bandar Mohammed Hajjar during his visit to Istanbul's Okmeydani Research and Training Hospital, which the bank contributed to financing with a sum of $ 220 million.
