Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Eng. Abdullatif bin Abdulmalik Al Al-Sheikh will open on Tuesday the 1st Saudi Smart Cities Conference, which will be organized by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh. The three-day conference will be attended by 40 experts from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, U.S., Canada, Belgium and South Korea. On the sidelines of the conference, a number of executive memorandums of understanding will be signed with a number of the world's leading companies in the field of Smart Cities, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs said.
