Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Okaz and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the visit of British Prime Minister Theresa May to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, saying that the visit gains paramount importance for strengthening Saudi-British long-term partnership and building strong trade, economic and investment alliance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the stage of Brexit from the European Union, noting that the strategic alliance made by British Prime Minister Theresa May with the Saudi leadership has contributed significantly to strengthening future partnership between the two countries and providing an opportunity for an important political and economic dialogue. The papers indicated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered at the present time the largest trade partner to the United Kingdom in the Middle East, as British imports to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounted to 4.67 billion Pounds sterling and Saudi exports to Britain amounted to 1.9 billion Pounds sterling .
