The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked second at the Arab level and 38th at the global level in an assessment of countries with very high human development in accordance with the human development report issued by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for 2016, it was announced today. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Fahd bin Suleiman Al-Tekhaifi, President of the General Authority for Statistics, said that this report reflects the level of human development level in the Kingdom in various fields. It highlights the exerted efforts at all levels in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince. This report also reflects the aims of the Kingdom Vision 2030 which represents an ambitious document seeking to achieve a sustainable development and keep up with rapid development variables in the world.
