A joint statement was issued on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud 's visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in response to the invitation that extended by King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The joint statement is : Based on the solid and distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; and the desire to push these relations towards a wider horizons; and in order to invest the great potentials and opportunities to enhance the existing cooperation between them in the political, security, military, investment, cultural, agricultural, labor, transport, housing and energy; and in response to the invitation extended by King Abdullah II of Jordan, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia paid a visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during the period from 28 to 29 Jumada II 1438H, 27 to 28 March 2017, during where he met with his brother King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein. Duirng the meeting, they discussed issues of mutual concern on both the regional and international arenas, which will contribute to supporting and enhancing security and stability in the region and the world.
