Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Abdullah II of Jordan witnessed, on Monday, co-signing ceremony of various agreements, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), executive programs and contracts between the governments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Among the co-signed documents a draft agreement on the protection and preservation of the environment and the executive program, in the field of social affairs, an executive program, in the field of culture. A memorandum of understanding was signed, in the field of postal services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims between the Saudi Postal Corporation and its Jordan's counterpart. Also a draft memorandum of understanding, in the field of health, was co-signed and a draft memorandum of understanding, in the field of housing, a draft agreement on mutual encouragement and protection of investments, project of the research and development contract, in the uranium mining project, in the central Jordan region, were all co-signed. Another draft memorandum of understanding to study the economic feasibility of building two reactors, with small integrated units in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for the production of electricity and water desalination, was co-signed, too. A draft memorandum of understanding and news cooperation between the Saudi Press Agency and the Jordanian News Agency, was co-signed, by their respective chiefs. The signing of agreements and memoranda for the private sector, including the city of medical treatment and rehabilitation in Riyadh, have also, taken place.
