The Yemeni army announced that it has moved its military battles to liberate Arhab directorate, an affiliate of Sanaa province, overlooking the capital's airport. A senior military source said today that the move comes after liberating Al-Dhaboo'a, the last stronghold of Houthi militias and deposed president Ali Saleh in Nahm directorate. In a statement on the army's September 26 website, the source said the army launched two dual attacks, carried by Brigade 141 forces supported by Brigade 310 at dawn on Sunday under an air cover by the Arab Coalition. He said the fighting moved to Sceshli area in Arhab directorate, noting that many fell prisoners of war at the hands of the Yemeni army as others fled towards Arhab.
