Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Al-Toraifi, among accompanying delegation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, currently on an official visit to Indonesia, met on the sidelines of the visit with the Zulkifli Hasan, the Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations binding the two fraternal countries and means to promote them, notably in the domains of parliamentary as well as media cooperation. While the Indonesian official hailed King Salman visit to Indonesia, calling it a historical move, Dr. Al-Toraifi, for his part, stressed the significance of bilateral cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries, lauding stability the Indonesian society, entertains, in addition to the Indonesian role in combat of terrorism, within a wide-scale Islamic military coalition, supported by a moderate media-related discourse.
