General Authority of Civil Aviation Approves Transference of Dammam-based King Fahd Int'l Airport, into Stockholding Company

Board of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) extended here today thanks and gratitude of the Custodian of the Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince, for the Cabinet approval of the executive program for privatizing investment-wise units, at (GACA) and partnership projects with the private sector.
During a meeting, under the chairmanship of the Chairman Suleiman Al-Hamdan, the board approved transference of the Dammam-based King Fahd International Airport, in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom, into a shareholding company, in addition to endorsing an executive regulation related to protecting the equity or the rights of shareholders.
