The education ministry of the Republic of The Maldives has introduced an Arabic language curricula presented to it by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, officials said here today. Dr. Ayesha Shiham, minister of education in The Maldives dedicated the event in the presence of the Saudi deputy chief of diplomatic mission in The Maldives Mitrek Al-Dosary, the report said. In remarks on the event, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, supervisor for the educational office, an affiliate of the embassy, said that this support by the Saudi government comes as part of promoting cultural relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of The Maldives.
