Cameroon will battle Egypt for the title at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations after beating Ghana 2-0 in the semi-finals on Thursday in Franceville, Gabon. Michael Ngadeu tallied in the 72nd minute and Christian Bassogog ended all doubts with his goal three minutes into stoppage time, giving Cameroon the chance for their fifth Afcon crown on Sunday in the Gabonese capital Libreville. Cameroon last reigned over Africa in 1982 and it will be Cameroon's second final since their last crown, losing to Egypt 1-0 in the 2008 title bout. Ghana, who have not won the African title since 1982 despite six straight semi-finals, will have a day to rest before they face off against Burkina Faso in the third place game on Saturday in Port-Gentil.
