Egyptian keeper Essam El Hadary saved two penalties as the record champions beat Burkina Faso 4-3 in a penalty shootout on Wednesday to reach the final of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. The semi-final in the Gabonese capital Libreville was knotted 1-1 after 120 minutes of play after which the seven-time winners leaned on their 44-year-old keeper El Hadary, who stopped Burkina Faso's final two spot kicks. Mohamed Salah gave Egypt the lead in the 67th minute before Aristide Bance equalized in the 73rd minute for Burkina Faso.
