Four-time champions Cameroon have upset Senegal 5-4 on penalties to reach the semi-finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal star Sadio Mane being the only player to miss in the shootout, dpa reported. After the first eight players converted their penalties following 120 minutes of scoreless action, Cameroon keeper Fabrice Ondoa stopped the spotkick of the Liverpool striker Mane, Africa's most expensive player. Vincent Aboubakar then converted the final penalty to send Cameroon into the final four. The Indomitable Lions, whose last Afcon title came in 2002, reached the semis for the first time since finishing runners-up in 2008 and will face the winner between Democratic Republic of Congo and Ghana. Senegal were hoping to finally win their first African championship, having lost to Cameroon in the 2002 final - with current Teranga Lions coach Aliou Cisse on that team.
