Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, has sent a cable of sympathy and condolence to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zaid Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the losses resulting from an explosion in Afghanistan, killing and injuring a number of UAE citizens. In his cable, the Crown Prince said "with profound pain, I have been informed of the sinful explosion which took place in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, killing and injuring a number of UAE citizens. Strongly condemning this terrorist act, I express my warm feelings of condolence and sympathy to Your Excellency, the sisterly people of the UAE, and the families of the victims, appealing to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy and forgiveness on the deceased, offer the injured a quick recovery and protect the UAE and its sisterly people against any harm".
