The Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of sympathy and condolence to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zaid Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the losses resulting from an explosion in Afghanistan, killing and injuring a number of UAE citizens. In his cable, the monarch said "with profound pain, we have been informed of the incident which took place in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, killing and injuring a number of UAE citizens. Strongly denouncing and condemning this brutal terrorist act, in the name of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we share Your Excellency and the sisterly people of the UAE those sad feelings, appealing to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy and forgiveness on the deceased, offer the injured a quick recovery and protect the sisterly people of UAE against any harm".
