Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, has sent a cable of sympathy and condolence to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zaid Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the losses resulting from an explosion in Afghanistan, killing and injuring a number of UAE citizens. In his cable, the Crown Prince said "with profound pain, I have been informed of the explosion which took place in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, killing and injuring a number of UAE citizens. Strongly denouncing and condemning this heinous terrorist act, depicted as criminal by all divine religions and international norms and charters, I express my sincere feelings of condolence and sympathy to Your Excellency, the families of the victims and the sisterly people of the UAE, appealing to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy and forgiveness on the deceased, offer the injured a quick recovery and protect the sisterly people of UAE against any harm".
