The Council for Economic Affairs and Development held at Al-Yamamah palace in Riyadh today an ordinary meeting. During the meeting, the Council discussed a number of issues covering economic and developmental issues and took the relevant recommendations, including a recommendation on the presentation submitted by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on a program to increase the green space in the Kingdom, restoring the environmental balance through sustainable exploitation of the climatic circumstances and the available natural resources through the rehabilitation and developing of forest lands, pastures and tree zones, expanding agricultural technologies, and establishing green zones around cities and highways.
