Findings of Security Investigations Led to Arresting 3 People for Involvement, in Surveillance of Sheikh Algirani, before Being Kidnapped -MOI Spokesman Announces
Ministry of Interior (MOI) Spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour al-Turki announced here today that the results of security investigations reached by the security authorities since the embrace of the communications received, in the province of Qatif, for the disappearance of Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Algirani, the Judge of the Endowments and Inheritance Department, has led to the conclusion that the judge was kidnapped, in front of his home, in Tarot on Tuesday, morning of 14 of Rabie I, and hence the arrest of three people for their involvement in the surveillance and follow up of Sheikh Algirani, before being kidnapped. During a press conference held here today, at the club of Internal Security Forces' officers, Al-Turki added that "Follow up and surveillance operation lasted for about two weeks, immediately, prior to his abduction and was commissioned by the planners and perpetrators of the crime. The three people who were arrested are Abdullah Ahmed Al Darwish, 25 years old, Mazen Ali Ahmed 40 years old and Mustafa Ahmed Salman Al Sehwan 25 years old, noting that investigations has led to the identification of those involved in the direct crime of kidnapping, that they are among those whom already their names were announced on 29 of the month of Muharram 1438 AH. An internal statement this day included and announced the names of Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Ammar, 35 years old, Maytham Ali Mohamed 29 years and 22-years old Hamad Saud. The security spokesman warned the kidnappers and their associates from compromising the lives of Sheikh Algirani and asked them for his immediate release, holding them criminally responsible, in the event of expositing him to any harm. He called on to display information about the wanted men, who were announced or already announced in previous statements, or who has information on the whereabouts of Sheikh Algirani, to report on the number 990 or the nearest security agency, to support ongoing investigations in relationship and relevance to the issue of the disappearance of Sheikh, warning that anyone who intentionally committed concealing information about this crime, will not be immune from accountability. Al-Turki stressed that providing information leading to the arrest of any of the wanted men will benefit from the financial reward that previously announced, amounting SR 1 million to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of a wanted, or SR 5 million to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of more of those wanted or SR 7 million, in the case of providing information leading to thwart terrorist act. Security spokesman of the Interior Ministry concluded by saying that information available at the security agencies so far confirm that Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Ammar, who participated in the committing of this crime, is the one who takes the leading role of guiding the arrest task of observing and monitoring Sheikh Algirani, during the period that preceded the abduction.
