Minister of Housing Majed bin Abdullah Al-Huqail confirmed that the housing sector is one of the most urgent issues of concern to citizens in our Arab homeland, therefore the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction of Arab League organized conferences to find solutions that would help our citizens to secure suitable housing in convenient ways, with three previous conferences held in Egypt, Jordan and Iraq which reflected the Council's utmost importance of this issue. In his opening speech of the activities of the 4th Arab Housing Conference being held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and organized by the Ministry of Housing in partnership with the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction of Arab League here today under the title: "Activating Partnership between Public and Private Sectors for Housing Sector Development", he said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has attached a great attention to the issue of housing like all other Member States that have made housing a concern and big cause. He noted that the Kingdom has provided full support for this sector, as it entered into a number of agreements with the private sectors from domestic, Arab or world companies known for their competence and experience, pointing out that this move came out of the "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030" which stresses the importance of raising the percentage of ownership of citizens for housing, including the promotion of family ties and the achievement of greater stability.
