Banning import of live animals from Somalia

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has temporarily banned importing live animals from the Republic of Somalia because of the emergence of Rift Valley Fever and Foot and Mouth diseases.
The Ministry has taken precautionary measures in the animal quarantines at Kingdom's various ports in collaboration with relevant government agencies.
