Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Youm and Okaz newspapers commented on the annual report issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, saying that the report shows the rising trend of the positive growth of the Kingdom's economy despite the difficult economic circumstances experienced by many countries in the world in the East and the West. The papers said that the report pointed out that monetary and banking developments, the balance of payments and the developments of the external sector, public finances and oil sectors are clear indications that the Kingdom's economy is growing well, despite the decline in oil prices, due to the prudent monetary policy being practiced by the wise leadership that led to the development of non-oil sectors at reasonable rates underscoring the importance of diversifying sources of income and not relying on oil as the sole source. --More
