Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said that the Kingdom is making progress towards achieving Vision 2030, which is expected to make a big economic transformation reducing the total reliance on a single source of income, oil, to more versatile sources, noting that since the establishment of Public Investment Fund in 1971, it has diversified its investments and according to vision 2030, it aims to raise its assets to two trillion dollars. Al-Youm and Al-Sharq newspapers commented on Iran, highlighting the message addressed by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States and other Arab countries to the General Assembly of the United Nations in which they expressed grave concern over Iranian regional and expansionist policy in the region. --More
