The Minister of Labor and Social Development and Chairman the 33rd session of the Council of Ministers of Labor and the Council of Ministers for Social Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, Dr. Moufarrej bin Saad Al-Haqbani confirmed the importance of implementing the Supreme Council's decision in its 36th session held in Riyadh in December 2015 on adoption of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to promote the GCC joint action. In his opening speech before the session today in Riyadh, Dr. Al-Haqbani said, "The vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques carried sublime contents to strengthen the blessed march of the GCC and its regional and international status, through joint action programs in several related sectors and social development fields, including the implementation of the GCC common market to achieve full equality among citizens of the GCC member countries in the treatment in the governmental and private sectors and to encourage volunteer work and the issuance of GCC system to achieve integration in protecting the rights of the disabled in its member states in addition to the completion of strategic and economic partnerships that accrue benefits to the citizens of our countries." He added, "The vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will contribute to achieving the aspirations of the GCC leaders about the requirements and the needs of sustainable development and increasing of productivity and competitiveness of national and GCC workforce as well as enhancing the level of income of its citizens and their well-being with the development of the partnership between the GCC public and private sectors."
