Saudi Deputy Minister of Labor, Dr. Moufarrej bin Saad Al-Haqbani, stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved important successes in the field of employment in the private sector. He explained in a speech before 103rd session of International Labor Conference being held in Geneva that the participation of national employment in this sector has risen since the start of the program of Nitaqat (ranges) for Saudization in the month of June 2011 till today from about 10% to more than 15%. Dr. Al-Haqbani pointed out that until the end of last April, as many as about 750,000 male and female citizens were employed in the private sector and the number of Saudi women working in the private sector increased from about 55,000 in 2009 to more than 400,000 in April 2014AD . He reported that the Ministry has launched recently a program at a cost of 25 million dollars to develop the bodies of the settlement of labor disputes including the training of national cadres working in this field.
