Members of the Shura parliamentary friendship association, led by Dr. Abdullah bin Homood Al-Harbi, held a meeting here today with their Bangladeshi counterparts, led by Bazul Haq Haroon, who are on an official visit to the Kingdom. During the meeting, Al-Harbi lauded the bilateral relations binding the Kingdom and Bangladesh, noting the importance of such meetings to further strengthen parliamentary ties between the Saudi and Bangladeshi sides. He appreciated Bangladeshi position supporting the legitimacy in Yemen. For his part, the leader of the Bangladeshi delegation expressed happiness to visit the Kingdom, noting the depth of relations between the two countries as well as the parliamentary ties between the Bangladeshi parliament and the Saudi Shura Council. He praised the high-level visits being exchanged between the two chambers, citing the recently-concluded visit of the Shura speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Ibrahim Al Al-sheikh to Bangladesh. During the meeting, bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Bangladesh were reviewed as well as ways of enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields, partialuarly between the two chambers. The meeting was attended by Bangladeshi ambassador to the Kingdom Ghulam Moshe.
