Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah met in Manama yesterday the United Nations Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Relief Coordinator for Emergency Cases Stephen O'Brien on the sidelines of the seventh annual conference for effective partnership and information exchange for best humanitarian action currently being held in Bahrain. Dr. Al-Rabiah reviewed relief efforts and humanitarian aid made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for afflicted people in the world as a result of crises, wars and disasters including the establishment of a humanitarian system consisting of 91 local, regional and international partners to implement more than 123 relief programs with more than two billion Saudi riyals allocated mostly to deal with the repercussions and effects of crises in the region, particularly in Yemen.
