Residents of the Yemeni city of Taiz, long on a Houthi-forced siege, took to the streets today to express happiness of their army and popular resistance concerted steadfast resulting in the break of the siege. According to the state-run Yemeni News Agency, they were raising portraits of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in gratitude for the great assistance provided by the Arab Coalition for the Yemeni army and popular resistance against the Houthi rebels and deposed president Ali Saleh. The Yemeni jubilance is doubled by the coincidence of this victory with the anniversary of the launch of the determination storm.
