Further to the statement announced on 24/1/1438H regarding martyrdom of First Class Private / Hassan bin Jabar Massoud Shlouli and Private / Moufarreh bin Faleh Msult Al-Subaie, personnel of Installations Security Forces, who were exposed to a heavy fire from an unknown source, the Security Spokesman of the Interior Ministry stated that this crime in accordance with results of technical examinations of the Criminal Evidence are linked to recent terrorist crimes targeting external guards at Qatif Police on 14/1/1437H, as well as targeting a security patrol while it was performing its duties at Khudria District in Dammam on 16/12/1437H, in addition to a crime of armed robbery in Qatif Province on 18/11/1437H. The spokesman added that the investigation is still ongoing.
