Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics and issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Youm and Al-Sharq newspapers commented in their editorials on United States Justice Against Sponsors of Terror Act (JUSTA), saying that the law is a dangerous precedent and if it is applied, it will damage United States relations with the countries of the whole world and not only with Arab and Islamic countries. The papers noted the prosecution of the Kingdom for attacks of September 11th is absolutely meaningless, as the United States administration and the US Senate know certainly that the phenomenon of terrorism has no religion nor homeland, and terrorism can occur in any part of the world, indicating that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Interior, has prosecuted and arrested anyone having ties with Al-Qaeda after September 11, 2001 and even before that date, as members of this terrorist organization have come to carry out a number of terrorist operations inside the Kingdom.
