Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, received here today, the Chairwoman of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, the most highlighted activities of the Alliance and its works in Arab and African countries were reviewed. Dr. Iweala expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for its support for the Alliance , and wished the continuation of cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Alliance and providing it with support and assistance for its efforts and activities. For his part, Dr. Al-Assaf stressed the keenness of the Government of the Kingdom on the continuation of this approach by providing support and assistance for all activities and humanitarian action of the Alliance.
