Jordan on Friday, strongly condemned the terrorist crime in the French city of Nice, when a truck drove into a crowd at Bastille Day celebrations late Thursday. Jordan's Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesman Mohammed Al Momani said that Jordan denounces in the strongest possible terms, this brutal attack, which claimed the lives of 84 persons and wounded dozens. This attack, the minister said, once again reiterates the barbaric and inhumane methods of terrorists, who target innocent people all over the world. Such terrorists pose a real threat to the global peace and security, the minister added. "Jordan stands by France in these hard conditions", Momani said, while reiterating calls to eradicate terrorism and extremism. The minister offered the Jordanian government and people's condolences to the French government and people, while wishing the injured a speedy recovery, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
