Former Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi, who is recovering from open-heart surgery, will be released from hospital on Tuesday to continue rehabilitation therapy from home, a statement said according to dpa. Milan's San Raffaele Hospital, where Berlusconi was operated on nearly three weeks ago, said Monday he would continue to be looked after by its doctors and staff as he moves into his villa in Arcore, a 20-kilometre drive from the facility. Berlusconi, who turns 80 in September, had surgery to treat a "severe aortic insufficiency" that put his life in danger. Doctors said the June 14 operation went well and expect the patient to make a full recovery.
