Saudi-French Business Council held a meeting yesterday in Paris, in coincidence with the visit paid by the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, with presence of a number of ministers and Chairman of Saudi Chambers Council and Chairman of the Saudi-French Business Council as well as Saudi and French businessmen in addition to representatives of French companies. During the meeting, Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment, said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to find various sources of income, pointing out that the Kingdom's vision 2030 is a catalyst and accelerator for development. He added that the Kingdom Vision 2030 defines 15 years for measuring performance. For his part, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Finance, pointed out the Kingdom's keenness on increasing non-oil revenues which are expected to reach balance by 2020. He stressed that there is a focus on increasing local content, either in industry or services. --More
