Executive Director of the Middle East Policy Council, in the United States Dr. Thomas Mattair hailed the current visit to United States of America by the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, stressing that the visit will strengthen the Saudi-US partnership, at various levels. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Thomas Mattair said that the Deputy Crown Prince's current visit to USA, during which he met with US President Barack Obama, a number of officials and investors, will strengthen the Saudi-US partnership and push it to higher levels, to reflect the strength of the alliance between the two countries. He noted that the importance of the visit was reflected in the discussion of the intensification of defense ties between the Kingdom and USA, exchange of intelligence information and the cooperation in the field of counter-terrorism, as well as cooperation in resolving ongoing regional conflicts that threaten the common interests of the two countries, adding that the time has come to US investors to shed light on the bold and smart economic reform plans, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that were based on the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and associated programs, such as the National Transformation Program 2020, which will make the kingdom, one of the most important force, at the regional as well as the global levels. Dr. Mattair concluded by expressing his belief that the US policymakers, legislators and business leaders have, by now, a great understanding of the importance of raising the level of the Saudi-US partnership, following their meetings with the Deputy Crown Prince and talks about the kingdom's economic plans and programs, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
