The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, has condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attack that targeted the Naso Nablod hotel in the Somalian capital, Mogadishu on 25th June 2016 causing the death of at least fifteen people, including the Somali Minister for the Environment, Buri Hamza and injury of scores of others. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Madani expressed his condolences to the Government of the Republic of Somalia and to the families of the victims, reiterating OIC's solidarity and support to the Federal Government of the Republic of Somalia in its efforts to combat terrorism and unify and stabilize the country. The Secretary General reaffirmed OIC's firm position against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, calling again for global efforts to defeat this scourge.
