The President of Pakistan Scholars Council Sheikh Tahir Mahmood Al-Ashrafi has denounced the inclusion being alleged by Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon which put the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to restore the legitimacy in Yemen on the black list of countries that violate the rights of children along with the Houthi rebels in the UN annual report which shows the plight of children who are the victims of armed conflicts, considering the report as contradicting the resolutions of the United Nations itself which is totally rejected by any sane person. Al-Ashrafi said in a press statement that the report being made by Ban Ki-moon to put the Arab coalition that supports the legitimacy of Yemen in equation with Houthi rebel militias is contrary to the logic, as well as to the United Nations position that supported the restoration of legitimacy in Yemen, pointing out that Ban Ki-moon took false and misleading information from rebel parties in Yemen, who are working according to Iranian plot aimed to destroy the entire region.
