Deputy Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Freeh said that the events of the Insurance Career Day, which was launched on Tuesday under the title of "Employment Opportunities in Insurance Industry," are consistent with the Kingdom's vision 2030 with respect to the labor market by reducing the rate of unemployment among Saudi citizens from 11.6 percent to 7 percent. He added that the events of the Insurance Career Day are also consistent with the new Sama's strategy for the development of the insurance sector 2022 to increase the sector's contribution to GDP by increasing community's awareness of the importance of insurance and its benefits and attracting more investors, developing the existing products and innovating new ones and creating new training programs for workers in this promising sector. These ramarks came in a speech delivered by SAMA's Deputy Governor at the launching ceremony of the 2-day events of the Insurance Career Day 2016, organized by the Insurance Executive Committee in cooperation with the Institute of Finance.
