Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the 4th ministerial joint meeting among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Russian held in Moscow has proved its efficiency on global and regional issues, stressing that Russia is committed of all resolutions regarding settlement in Syria within framework of the international support group and the Security Council. He also stressed his country's support of ongoing operation led by the United Nations to reach settlement in Yemen and Libya as well as in a number of regions in the Middle East and North Africa. He added that the meeting dealt with the situation in Iraq. This came in a press conference held here yesterday with Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is also chairman of the GCC current ministerial session, following the ministerial joint meeting. --More
