In the framework of the second session of the Saudi-Belarusian joint Committee that began its activities on Monday in Minsk, Dr. Yousef bin Tarad Al-Saadoun, the Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry for Economic and Cultural Relations and the head of the Saudi delegation, accompanied by Saudi Ambassador to Russia Abdulrahman Al-Rasi, who is also the Saudi non-resident ambassador to the Republic Belarus visited the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences. During the visit, they met with the Chairman of the Permanent Executive Committee of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences Vladimir Gosakov and discussed the aspects of scientific and technical cooperation between the scientific institutions in the two countries and ways of developing them.
