Saudi Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Russia Abdulrahman Al-Rassi praised the Saudi-Russian distinguished historical relations which always witness further development and growth in a lot of areas. In a statment to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Al-Rassi said that Saudi-Russian relations are deeply rooted with historical ties and permanent evolution, pointing out that these relations are based on foundations of common principles and mutual respect to enhance the quality and level of bilateral relations. Ambassdor Al-Rassi emphasized that the visit of Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, to Russia and his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, enjoys a sepcial importance, in terms of timing and content, for conducting consultations between the two countries that share common interests which require discussion at the highest levels.
