Finance ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held at the headquarters of the six-nation group in Riyadh today their 102 meeting, under the chairmanship of Saudi minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf. Addressing the meeting, Al-Assaf briefed his GCC counterparts on the agenda of the meeting, mainly to implement the decisions issued by the last GCC summit in Riyadh, citing the taxation issue, customs union, and common market, wishing the meeting every success. For his part, Abdullah Al-Shibly, Assistant GCC Secretary General for Economic and Developmental Affairs, delivered a speech on behalf of the GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, noting that the meeting will pay great attention to the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdualziz which he submitted at the GCC 36th summit meeting held in Riyadh, calling for further enhancing the GCC march and its regional and international status.
