AlQa'dah 20, 1433, Oct 6, 2012, SPA -- Presided over by the Saudi Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Ministers of Finance and Economy of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States held here today 94th Session of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee in the presence of GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani. In his speech during the opening session, Dr. Al-Assaf welcomed the participants, citing the proposal of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz during the 32nd GCC summit which calls for transfer from cooperation phase to union phase among GCC Member States. Al-Assaf also highlighted the current regional economic and political circumstances. The agenda of the meeting will discuss issues pertaining to financial and economic fields among GCC Member States.
