Yemeni parties on Saturday started a third day of UN-backed talks which they started in Kuwait on Thursday, seeking a consensus that could help conclude an inclusive solution to the crisis in Yemen. According to KUNA, the direct talks, attended by UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, involve representatives of the Yemeni government, delegation of rebels of Houthi rebels and Ousted Saleh. They will focus on implementation of UN Security Council resolution No 2216, and the possibility of setting a framework to pave the way for an organized peaceful process in Yemen based on the GCC Initiative and the outcome of the Yemeni National Dialogue.
