The Command of the Coalition Forces to Support the Legitimacy of Yemen welcomes the start of the Yemeni political consultations, currently being held in the State of Kuwait. This came in a statement issued by the command, which reads as follows: the leadership of the coalition welcomed the start of the Yemeni political consultations currently being held in the State of Kuwait. It confirms that it continues to support the United Nations efforts and its envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, to reach a comprehensive solution in accordance with Resolution no. (2216). It valued also the role exerted by various bodies, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to gather the Yemeni parties and the formation of joint committees to monitor the ceasefire in all Yemeni provinces, facilitating delivery of relief and medical supplies and alleviate the suffering of the brotherly people of Yemen. The leadership of the coalition stresses continuity in organizing work of the joint committees to monitor the ceasefire, to coordinate their work and to address violations that may occur, till a comprehensive cease-fire is reached. The leadership of the coalition is continuing to intensify its efforts to bring relief and humanitarian aid to all Yemeni provinces in cooperation with King Salman Center for Relief and humanitarian action.
