AlHijjah 18, 1434, Oct 23, 2013, SPA -- Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh met here today with the UN and Arab League envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Syria as well as preparations for the Geneva 2 Peace Conference. Judeh briefed Brahimi on the outcomes of Friends of Syria meeting held in London yesterday, and reiterated Jordan's stance which calls for a political solution that guarantees Syria's security and unity. The envoy expressed appreciation for the efforts of Jordanian King Abdullah II to end the violence and achieve stability in the region.
