The Saudi-British Parliamentary Friendship Committee of Majlis Al-Shura, led by Prince Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah bin Mishari, Chairman of the committee, met with a delegation from the Group of the Middle East of the British Conservative Party headed by Member of Parliament Alan Duncan. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Dr. Khalid welcomed the British delegation, stressing strong relations binding the two countries in all fields. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in addition to the latest developments in the region. The two sides also discussed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the parliamentary field and activation of the two parliamentary friendship committees.
