Indian nurse, child, killed in shell attack in Libya

An Indian nurse and her 18-month-old son were killed in a shell attack on their residence in Libya's Sabratha city, dpa quoted an Indian politician as saying Saturday.
The nurse, who was from the southern Indian state of Kerala, and her son were killed late Friday, Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy told reporters.
Chandy said 12 other Indians were trapped in the apartment complex where the nurse died.
"We are in touch with people in Libya," Chandy said. "We are doing our best to bring back all Indians stuck there."
