The headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh today hosted a workshop on lessons learned from international experiences in recovery and peace-building and reconstruction organized by the General Secretariat of the GCC in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation of the Republic of Yemen and the development partners of Yemen. At the beginning of the workshop, GCC's Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Negotiations Abdul Aziz Hamad Aluwaisheg delivered a statement in which he explained that the workshop comes within the framework of the implementation of the decision of the Supreme Council of the GCC to prepare for an international conference for reconstruction in Yemen.
