The 15th meeting of the ministerial committee to follow-up the implementation of the GCC joint action decisions was held at the GCC Secretariat General headquarters here yesterday. Mohammed bin Faisal Abu Saq, Chairman of the meeting, gave a speech at the beginning of the meeting in which he explained that the GCC member states have more than 140 decisions by the Supreme Council which are being translated year after year into the GCC systems. GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani delivered a speech in which he pointed out that the Supreme Council at its 36th session, which was held in Riyadh last December, adopted the GCC vision on the strengthening of the GCC joint work, which aims to establish the concept of real cooperation between the GCC countries in all economic, political, social, military, and security spheres, and to uplift the level of coordination and coherence among the members states in all fields down to its unity, and strengthen its role in the Arab, Islamic and international surroundings to serve the vital issues that concern the GCC countries and its citizens and to meet their ambitions, and to support the Arab and Islamic issues.
