Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper commented on the Cabinet's confirmation, at its weekly regular session yesterday, Monday, regarding the decision taken recently by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States to designate Hezbollah militia, leaders, affiliated factions and organizations as a terrorist organization due to their continuing hostilities and flagrant violations of the sovereignty of the GCC's member countries and their security and stability. It stressed that as a result of their posing of a direct threat to Arab national security, there is no longer doubts about Hezbollah's dangers since they are the most important tools of the Iranian-Faqih plot in the region. It also believed that Hezbollah party is no longer a military movement founded to resist the Israeli occupation, but a "spearhead" of the Iranian plot in the region, and countering it decisively becomes a fateful matter due to its targeting the safety and security of GCC's member states, and its direct and frank threat to Arab national security. --More
